East Fife pulled themselves away from the relegation zone with a convincing 3-1 win away at Alloa.
Two goals from Craig Johnstone and a Ross Philip own goal leaves Alloa without a win at home in seven matches.
The opening goal of the afternoon came on 34 minutes when East Fife midfielder Craig Johnstone slotted into the bottom corner from close range after Steven Hislop's cross.
Any hopes of a possible comeback were finished following a disastrous end to the first-half.
Alloa centre back Ross Philip deflected a Robert Linn shot into his own net two minutes into first-half stoppage time, followed quickly by Craig Johnstone's second to make it 3-0 at the break.
The plucky hosts pulled one goal back just after the hour mark, when Michael McGowan converted a penalty but it was just a consolation as the visitors claimed three vital points.
