Albion up and running at last
Albion recorded their first goals and first win of the season with 2-1 away victory against East Fife.
The Wee Rovers had lost all five of their opening fixtures so far this season, and fell behind just two minutes into the game when Scott McBride rifled a 25-yard free-kick past Ryan McWilliams.
But the visitors were gifted a slice of luck just a minute before the interval when Jordon Forster bundled Jason Crooks' cross into his own net.
Crooks himself was then almost on target, but his right-footed effort struck the upright after 56 minutes.
Six minutes later, Keiran Brannon applied the finish to David Crawford's cross to become Albion's first goalscorer of the season, and put Todd Lumsden's side into the lead.
Barry Russell almost extended their advantage 10 minutes later, but his 20-yard effort drew a fantastic save from Michael Brown.
