Jamie Insall's double helps East Fife get back to winning ways against Stranraer
Jamie Insall bagged a brace as East Fife bounced back to winning ways in Ladbrokes League One to beat Stranraer 2-0 at Bayview Stadium.
Stranraer defender Steven Bell almost put the visitors ahead in the sixth minute but his close-range effort came back off the crossbar.
Insall, who earlier had two goals disallowed for offside, nodded in Kevin Smith's cross to edge the home side in front seven minutes before the break.
The striker then beat the offside trap to latch onto Kyle Wilkie's pass and lob the ball over visiting goalkeeper Cameron Belford to seal the points with half an hour remaining.
