Shire have propped up the table all season and were under pressure immediately when John Mitchell sent a header sailing past the bar after just five minutes.

But on 34 minutes Johnny Walker lost the ball to Gary Kelly and he quickly transferred to John Boyle and his cut-back was smartly finished by Steven Nicholas.
Derek Jackson pulled off a string of fine saves for East Stirling and had to race from his goal in the 40th minute to nick the ball from Mitchell.
Shire's defence was creaking and Kelly burst into the box on 55 minutes only for Jackson to pull off another save.
Rae almost levelled with a looping header which landed just on top of the net but in truth it was all the Fifers.
Nicholas was again denied as Jackson stood tall to block his 68th minute effort but the keeper was finally beaten for the second time on 89 minutes.
Kris Brash sent in a left-wing cross and Greig McDonald thumped in a header from close range to give Jackson no chance.
