Queens Park's play-off hopes hang by a thread as they remain without a home win since January.

Queens had an excellent opportunity to to break the deadlock after only three minutes. Paul Paton played a fine 40-yard ball through to Anthony Quinn, who beat the offside trap with a well-timed run, but the midfielderr sent his shot into the side netting.

A fine finger-tip save from David Crawford denied the visitors on the half-hour mark. Craig Smart cut inside on his right foot before unleashing a thunderous 25-yard drive that was heading towards the corner of the net before Crawford dived full length to his left to tip the ball behind for a corner.

Then two minutes later the woodwork denied Queens as Ross Clark saw his curling 25-yard effort rebound off the upright.

The home side had a decent penalty shout just before the break when Bryan Felvus handled inside the box under a challenge from Paul Doyle, but referee Euan Norris waved away the penalty claims.

Queens Park started the second half on the front foot, and Clark fired them ahead after 50 minutes, driving into the bottom left-hand corner of the net from 15 yards.

But with 14 minutes remaining, Gavin Beith levelled for the visitors with a crisp 20-yard drive into the bottom corner.

The visitors were reduced to 10 men following the dismissal of Andy Campbell, but Queens failed to capitalise on their numerical advantage.
